The team of Master Craft Union creates true pieces of art made of denim while proving once again that Japan is still the most exclusive producer of selvegde jeans in the world. 2012 founded by Hiro Yoskikawa, the company was able to rely immediately on a number of innovations. Hence Mastercraft Union is the first Japanese label that processes high quality stretch materials and even architecture paper in some of their collections.
Firstly MCU denim is woven in a family-run mill in Okayama, only to be sewn and washed in the mountains of Shimane. Absolutely remarkable is use of local hot springs water and volcanic pumice which creates truly authentic and unique washes. A Mastercraft Union is luxury and to meet this attribute, the models are all limited to a few hundred jeans.
